Content Creation Planning for Your Personal Brand

I love the process that goes into content creation. Writing, curating images, or creating something entirely from scratch...I do all of this for fun and I feel very fortunate that I get to do this in my work too!

However, content creation is a lot of work and can be very time-consuming. While managing multiple social platforms for myself and others along with advocating for consistency in showing up online and in-person, planning ahead is key.

Here are a few tips I have for anyone who wants to create content consistently:

- Use the notes app in your phone: I use Google Keep (the Google version of notes) to draft ideas when they come to me. Inspiration often hits when I am not looking for it!

- Time Blocking: Find a time, whether it's once a week, once a month, or a specific amount of time a day to spend either reviewing drafted posts, writing content, or scheduling it for future.

- Use a scheduling platform: I use Hootsuite for LinkedIn and Later for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Both have free plan options. If you prefer to post manually, set calendar reminders or add it to your to-do list (I oftentimes prefer this).
