Plants don’t rush to grow. They just grow on their own time and according to the season in which they are supposed to. Some plants grow faster than others and some take awhile longer. They don’t compare themselves to other plants. And they rest. They take breaks. They open up when the sun comes out, but they know that too much sun can sometimes cause them to burn out. They need water, they need fertilizer, and then they spend a lot of time working on themselves internally before anyone ever sees any results externally, but they know that work is worth the wait.

Maybe I need to be ok with being more like a plant. That’s all. 🌱🌿
