Change

When I first got my cats, I was actually terrified — I mean really terrified. I started questioning my rationale, I started questioning if I was ready to take care of two cats, I started questioning myself on why I was questioning myself.

But now, I look back and think:

1. I really didn’t need to worry as much as I did.

2. They make me so happy, and I can’t imagine life without them.

I think similar feelings can happen we are faced with any type of change in our lives. Whether we have a direct effect on making the change or the change seems to be indirectly happening to us, we can be faced with a lot of questions and self-doubts — and it can all be quite terrifying going through it. But here’s the hope in it all: change is good and change means you are growing towards something more wonderful than yesterday.

And if you’re in a season of change, my hope for you is that: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

1. Whatever you may be going through, you spend less time worrying and more time asking yourself, “How is this helping me grow?”

2. Whenever the day comes for you to look back on all that has changed and how much you have changed, you will be so happy and not be able to imagine your life any other way.

That’s all.

P.S. sleeping cats are adorable and make my heart melt. #thedalykittos (yes, my cats have their own hashtag on Instagram)
